Alligator Bay Wastewater System

Project Overview:
Land Management Group, Inc. has worked on many cross discipline projects where our expertise in soil and geologic characterization are merged with the engineering talents of others to produce unique solutions to complex environmental challenges.

One such project was the Alligator Bay subdivision near Jacksonville, NC. Land Management Group, Inc. conducted detailed soil and geologic descriptions, testing, and analyses, culminating in an aquifer test and hydrologic model with Visual MODFLOW 4.0.

With Land Management Group Inc.’s expertise we were successful in acquiring an environmentally friendly wastewater permit utilizing a re-use irrigation system of reclaimed wastewater. The client was able to develop nearly 280 homesites in a pristine coastal habitat and preserve the quality of the environment which makes this subdivision so attractive.
