Land Management Group utilizes a range of remote sensing tools that support comprehensive site evaluations (including soil suitability analyses and wetland delineations). Aerial imagery provides staff scientists with needed background information prior to site ground-truthing. Vegetative signatures on aerial photographs can accurately identify various upland and wetland habitats. In addition our in-house compilation of historical aerial photographs provide information on land use practices and site disturbances over time.
