Carolina Forest Subdivision
Location: Jacksonville, NC
Project Overview:
LMG delineated 404 wetlands and obtained necessary wetland fill permits for the Carolina Forest subdivision located in Jacksonville, NC. The wetland delineation was approved by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and this delineation was used in the site design of the subdivision to minimize wetland disturbance.
Wetland impacts were limited to several road crossings and utility installation. On-site and off-site mitigation was identified and implemented as part of the permit application.
An Individual Permit was obtained from the Corps and a 401 Water Quality Certification was obtained from the Division of Water Quality.
